Corrections Officer/Dispatcher

Postion Overview

This position is responsible for monitoring radio and telephone emergency lines and dispatching necessary information to patrol units and emergency personnel. Additional duties include maintaining radio logs and other records,  OR  admitting and releasing prisoners, arranging for medical care of employees, ensuring meals and prescribed medications are received on schedule, providing customer service to callers and visitors, and performing background checks as necessary.

Education Requirements

GED or high school diploma
