Postion Overview

The current vacancy in the Chilton County Road Department a full-time, benefited, non-exempt position. This position performs various maintenance and construction projects that include: maintenance of safe passage ways for the motoring public. Also, The safe and responsible operation of: bulldozers, graders, loaders, backhoe, chip-spreader, dump trucks, lowboy trailer, belly dump, excavators, snow removal equipment, and similar equipment.

Education Requirements

GED or high school diploma

Skill, Certification & Experience Requirements

• Commercial driving/public transportation experience or CDL license
• Customer service/public contact experience
• Heavy equipment operation experience
