Postion Overview

This opportunity within the Chilton County Road Department is a full-time, benefited, non-exempt position. Under the direction of the County Engineer, Superintendent of Roads and Construction and County Road Supervisor this is position involves considerable knowledge of the equipment listed under essential functions. Since much of the work is seasonal, the ability to operate other equipment and other labor functions is necessary. Anyone who meets the qualifications stated below may apply.

Education Requirements

GED or high school diploma

Skill, Certification & Experience Requirements

• Commercial driving/public transportation experience or CDL license
