Correction Officer (Entry Level)

Postion Overview

Complete admission and release of inmates and obtain medical care and transportation for inmate’s required travel. Ensures meals and prescribed medication are provided on schedule. Responsible for the security, safety, and appropriate control of inmates to protect all inmates, jail personnel, and the public. Investigates and reports problems between inmates. On the job training available.

Education Requirements

GED or high school diploma
