Corrections Officer

Postion Overview

Under immediate supervision provides for lawful custody and release of inmates through supervision and management of pre-trial information to ensure the safety and security of both the facility and the community. Ensures the public safety by providing for the custody, control, care and maintenance of inmates sentenced and held in the county jail. Responsible for entering all booking information to include updating of inmate records.

Education Requirements

GED or high school diploma
