Shop Mechanic

Postion Overview

Under the direction of the Assistant Road Engineer, the employee performs standard repairs and maintenance of gasoline/diesel powered automotive and heavy construction equipment and any additional assignments. Employee normally performs the duty assignments according to his/her judgment, requesting supervisory assistance only when necessary. The assignment is reviewed upon completion.

 

Education Requirements

No formal education

Skill, Certification & Experience Requirements

• Automotive mechanic experience
• Commercial driving/public transportation experience or CDL license
